Euro trip in Schengen and Croatia
Recently traveled to Europe for approximately 3 months, visiting mostly Schengen countries but spent some time in Croatia as well. Here is a map at a high level of the places we visited. As a guide this trip took roughly 10,000 km and we usually spent 2 - 3 days in each destination while driving 3 hours between stops. I am a foodie who likes mountains and water falls so without further ado here is my list.

Top 10 Neuschwanstein, Lake Como, Chianciano Italy, Salzburg, Berlin Germany, Ljubljana (Lake Bled), Vintgar gorge, Kranjska Gora Slovenia, Krka National Park Croatia, 3 Valleys ski resort, France in no particular order.
1. Neuschwanstein, Germany. Beautiful castle, unfortunately I wasn't able to visit inside the castle since we were traveling in winter, but from the bridge it was gorgeous.

2. Como Italy - La Gitana Pizza Restaurant serving giant delicious calzones.

3. Chianciano, Italy - La Torretta restaurant you will see on the left after passing the very square cut bushes. Burger was delicious with mozzarella topped in the shape of a bun.

4. Hamburg, Germany. Miniatur Wunderland was a good museum with miny scale models of cities around the world, with some examples being Las Vegas, Munich, and Amsterdamn.

5. Berlin, Germany. Potsdamer Platz had an amazing outdoor slide with surrounding bars and food.
6. Lake Bled. The views were stunning all around this lake. Didn't visit the island in the middle, but will leave that when I come back.

7. Vintgar gorge. Took the obligatory shot to start the trek through the gorge. You will be greeted by breathtaking views as you walk along the wooden walkways along the side of the rocks.

8. Kranjska Gora, Slovenia. Did a mountain bike ride up to Vrsic to around 1600m and the views were incredible.

9. Krka National Park, Croatia. Enjoyed the waterfalls and the very clear water all over this well kept park.

10. 3 Valleys ski resort, France. Starting at the amazing runs that span over 400km to the great after party at the Folie Douce.

Takeaways if you want to do a similar trip. I worked remotely writing software while traveling and the biggest impediment was reliable and fast internet access, but here were some other notes as well.

- Internet speeds were bad in Germany, it was better but not by a lot in Italy, Austria, Slovenia, Croatia. Denmark had excellent internet. https://www.dw.com/en/germany-land-of-woefully-slow-internet/a-42195241
- TMobile was invaluable I had good coverage over the EU, I used the hotspot often and it worked fairly well for low bandwidth like git, artifactory, ... One caveat is, I was warned about excessive data roaming by TMobile so there is a finite limit which is probably somewhere between 3 and 4 months before your account will be suspended.
- Bought hotspot from TIM Telecom which worked well in Italy but may need to switch SIMs even when moving within EU.
- Used Kismac2 in scan mode to determine wifi strength to find a good location to sit when using public wifis and have enough bandwidth for conferencing.
- Paid 5 euros every 30 minutes for jacuzzi access in Airbnb Ren, France :-). Typical of Europe charging you coins for the bathroom too.
